Procedure

  1. The on call SSW is required to be available by phone as needed.
  2. The on call SSW is required to have their work laptop, or a computer that is able to access TWIST, with them while on call so that they are able to run TWIST checks as needed.
  3. The on call SSW consults with the FSOS for approval before initiating an after hours investigation.
  4. The on call worker will respond to requests for assistance from partner agencies as needed, including running TWIST checks or verifying a child's placement or location.

Practice Guidance

  • Regional personnel and supervisors will work together to ensure that on call workers have access to someone in the region with TWIST access and connectivity at all times.
